Location

LOCATION - from January 2011

Moved to the Gold Coast to be closer to family, I am located around the Broadbeach Waters/Mermaid Waters area in Clear Island Waters? Doesn't that sound like a lovely place to live? It is!

I have an entire floor that is my office! Can't believe I found such an ideal location and so much room for my office! The office looks out onto a small garden, backed by a rocky water feature that runs in between the townhouses. At night, particularly when it's raining, the frogs and toads in the area can be heard from all over the house! I've also spotted water dragons, lots of birdlife and the occasional Ibises which have taken up residence in the area. 

It's incredibly quiet and peaceful - ideal conditions to concentrate.

Byron Bay, the most easterly point on mainland Australia, is part of the Byron Shire, which has a population about 30,000, and is about 566 square kilometers. We're approximately 800km north of Sydney (we are ex-Sydney). Each year, about 1.7 million tourists visit this area, which is famous for its beautiful beaches and glorious hinterland.

Main sources of income are tourism and agriculture. Famed for its laid-back lifestyle and sea-change population, Byron's sub-tropical climate makes for hot summers and very mild winters, especially along the coast.

Why is all this important enough to put on our web site? Because I worked in this lovely area from 1999 to 2010!
